Literary Milestones
Post-Master’s Certificates in Writing Enrichment (Poetry & Fiction): Creative Writing in London, Paris, & Quebec City
In the summers of 2022 & 2023, I returned to the literary home where I earned my MFA in Writing: Spalding University, in Louisville, Kentucky. At The Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing, I enrolled in the Post-Master's Certificate in Writing Enrichment program, focusing first on poetry, then on fiction. Studies included ten-day summer residencies in Paris and Quebec City.
In addition to the program’s literary agendas (workshops, panel discussions, craft lectures, faculty/student readings, et cetera), many cultural events kept us in motion around Paris and Quebec City. Once we returned home, I spent the first year studying and writing poetry with poet Greg Pape. Throughout the second year, I worked on fiction (and a little CNF) with journalist and novelist Roy Hoffman.
Note: As the above photo illustrates, on my way to Paris, I stopped at London for a few days to fact check the Swiss Cottage-portion of my manuscript/novel, THE E-POSTLE.
Writers…Writing

overview
Given the choice between “team” or “ensemble,” I chose ensemble every time. Rarely does one person do something important alone. I’ve relied on many people several times to achieve literary goals. Use the links on this page to discover what we accomplished…as one.
